# Camera & privacy

> What Skill3D captures, what we store, and how to stay in control.

# Camera & privacy

Skill3D needs your **camera** and **microphone** to coach. You stay in control of when a session is live.

## During a live session

* Video frames and audio are streamed to the coaching model so it can see and hear the job.
* Tap coordinates and tool actions (highlights, HUD, visualizations) use the current frame.
* Visualizations send a captured still + your edit instruction to generate a preview image.

## What we aim not to do

* We do not ask you to leave the camera on when you are not in a session.
* We do not sell your job video as a public social feed without your product flows.
* Product access is not gated on uploading your entire camera roll.

## Account data

Credits, milestones, and identity live in your Skill3D account. Chat History on a device is primarily local browser storage for that session archive.

## Practical tips

* Avoid pointing the camera at passwords, bank cards, or other people’s faces without consent.
* End the session when you leave the workspace.
* Revoke camera/mic permissions in the browser if you want a hard stop.
