Visualization
Ask the coach to show what a change would look like on your current camera view. Skill3D captures a frame, runs an image edit, and overlays the result so you can compare with the live scene.Example prompts
- “Show me this wall in sage green.”
- “What would this look like with the repair finished?”
- “Preview a brushed-steel tap here.”
- “Change this black cord to blue.”
How it works
- You ask for a visual change (by voice or in a way the coach understands as a preview request).
- The coach calls
visualize_changewith a short photo-edit brief. - The app captures the current camera frame.
- The server generates an “after” image.
- A preview overlay appears — hold to compare with the live view.
Cost
Each successful visualization costs a fixed amount of credits (currently 5 credits). Failed generations are not charged. What visualization is (and isn’t)
| It is | It isn’t |
|---|---|
| A photorealistic impression of a change | A measured plan or guarantee |
| Great for color, finish, and “done” look | Proof that the change is code-compliant |
| Tied to this camera angle | A 3D CAD model of the room |
Tips for strong results
- Frame the subject clearly (fill the view with the wall / fixture).
- Be specific: color name, material, finish, which object stays unchanged.
- Avoid moving the camera while generation is running.
