Voice coach

The voice coach is the core of Skill3D: a live AI session that sees your camera feed and hears you speak.

How a session works

  1. You start a coaching session and grant camera + mic.
  2. Skill3D connects a low-latency live model session.
  3. You talk about the job; the coach replies by voice.
  4. The coach can also:
    • Draw highlights on objects in the frame
    • Update the HUD with short step text
    • Call tools (research, visualization, etc.) when needed

Tips for better coaching

  • Light the scene — dark or blurry frames confuse the coach.
  • Hold steady for a second when asking about a specific part.
  • Name the object — “this left bracket” beats “this thing.”
  • One question at a time — short turns keep answers sharp.
  • Safety first — if something looks hazardous, stop and escalate.

Credits

Voice usage is metered from actual model tokens while the session is active and processing. Silence and idle connection are designed not to burn credits the same way active conversation does. See Credits for rates and packs.

Ending a session

Use Exit in the header. Your conversation is archived to History when possible, and verified milestones remain in your account.
